Arnold Laver Timberworld

Arnold Laver & Co. Ltd. has been built on the foundations of the business that was started by Arnold Laver in Sheffield in 1920. Over the last few years, the company has focused on three core businesses of timber merchanting, leisure management and property. The timber merchanting branch of the company - Arnold Laver Timber World - has recently seen the successful completion of its new National Production Centre in Sheffield. This flagship depot has been awarded Chain of Custody accreditation for two separate forest certification schemes – the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC). Arnold Laver Timber World is committed to the principles of FSC and PEFC and is currently rolling out implementation of Chain of Custody throughout all its depots in the UK.

The Timber World product ranges, which include softwoods, hardwoods, panel products, joinery products and engineered timber products, are all covered within the scope of this Certification. Arnold Laver Timber World also stocks a wide range of laminates and kitchens and all Timber World’s products are available for nation-wide delivery or Call Collect. In addition, the Company offers a wide range of ancillary services, including machining, panel cutting, timber treatment, CNC Routering and fabrication.
