ISO Energy was founded in response to the increasingly high costs and energy inefficiency caused by the reliance on fossil fuels in our homes. The company has always sought to look at the bigger picture of energy efficiency, rather than focussing on one area of sustainability. ISO Energy from the outset realised that finding solutions meant exploring the range of available systems on the market, and selecting those which best suited individual circumstances. We have always specialised in country houses, which are often the most in need of improvements in energy efficiency, but also present the most complex problems to solve and often require sympathetic and specialist handling. We also work on new builds and in particular have developed a close relationship with specialist developers such as Huf Haus and Scandia Hus. We also work on renovation and commercial projects with various architects. We realise that there is a huge amount of confusion from the public about where to begin to improve their energy efficiency. This is not helped with the claims made by salesmen hoping to make a quick sell of their particular product. For these reasons we offer our consultancy service; the report, which follows, contains an overview of possible systems, how they work and how they may, or may not, be suitable for you. We also try to give you an idea of installation costs, and what savings you are likely to make following an installation. Our ethos is that sustainable systems must be both environmentally and cost justifiable to be a viable alternative to conventional systems. Our aim is that this consultancy exercise will help you assess whether or not a sustainable system will work for your personal situation.
